Caraway Body Shop is locally owned and operated by John McDowell. John is 22 years old, has been doing auto body services for over eight years, and has been around autos his whole life. He is a fourth-generation auto worker and comes from a long line of exceptional auto workers. His great grandfather was an auto dealer and salvage yard owner who rebuilt many vehicles along with both of John's grandfathers. One took on the dealership and salvage yard, rebuilding many autos, and the other started as a mechanic for Chevrolet and later opened an auto repair and body shop before going into commercial heavy earth moving. John’s dad restores rare antique tractors and classic collector cars also.
